FRUITFUL KISS
Today(12.7.2014) as my wife and I were celebrating our 46 the wedding anniversary the Lord led us to Psalm 85 so as to reveal to us the secret of our success in marriage. The words which were outstanding were in Verse 10: Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.” This is indeed the secret of our fruitful marriage. We also sung Psalm 23 which we have memorized and enjoy singing it in Swahili. We believe this Psalm with all our heart. We have enjoyed God as a Good Shepherd who supplies all our need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. He gives us more than we ever expected and beyond our imagination. We never knew that He will give us 1.5 million children through All Nations Christian Church International. Praise the Lord!

WORDS OF CONSOLATION
As we have been grieving the over 28 Kenyan Christians who were killed in Mandera by Al-shabaab, the Lord has given me these words for all of us.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God in whom I trust.
He will cover you with his fathers
And under his wings you will find refuge. Psalm 91:1-4

The wicked flees thou no one pursues
But the righteous are as bold as a lion
When the country is rebellious, it has many rulers
But a man of understanding and knowledge maintain order. Proverb 28:1-2

The Lord is my light and my salvation,
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life –
Of whom shall be afraid?
When the evil men advance against me,
To devour my flesh,
When the enemies and my foes attack me
They will stumble and fall. Psalm 27:1-2

BETRAYAL
.
Even my close friend, whom I trusted,
He who I shared my bread,
Has lifted up his heel against me.  Psalm 41:9

Did you know that whenever Satan wants to hurt you most, he uses a friend whom you trust or a member of your family? Did know Judas who betrayed Jesus, was entrusted with the most important office- the office of finance, which we regard as lifeblood?  Did you know that the name Judas and Jude (the brother of Jesus, who wrote Jude ) are the same? Thus Jesus grew up with that name, a name from his close family which would eventually betray him. Did you know that David, the writer of the above Psalm, was hunted by his father-in-law?
So my friend, if you have had or are now being betrayed by a member of your family or a close friend, you need to know that you are not alone.  The same happened to David and Jesus and the writer of this short message. It hurts! But this should not be an excuse for not trusting the Lord. Stay plugged into Him.  Don’t lose your integrity. Pray with the Psalmist: “In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence.” Also be assured that if you stay plugged into God’s presence, you are unconquerable. Abide in his peace that passes understanding.  Abide in His love that never ends.  So if you need to sooth your soul with God’s word: “The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid.”  Psalm 27:1

A SSURANCE OF PROVISION TO THE GODLY
The Lord is everlasting God,
The creator of the end of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom
He gives strength to the weary
and increase power to the weak…
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles,
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
